Issued by the First Presidency and the Council of Studs of
The Church of Lord Business and the Latter-Day Bricks

We, the leaders of The Church of Lord Business and the Latter-Day Bricks, solemnly proclaim that the Brick is central to the plan of Order, and that all meaningful builds are established upon correct tolerances, firm foundations, and proper alignment.
The Brick is eternal.
Before baseplates were laid and before bins were sorted, the Brick existed. Through the Brick, all things are built; without the Brick, nothing clicks together as it should.
We declare that each Brick is purposefully designed, with specific dimensions, clutch power, and function. No Brick is accidental, though some are temporarily misplaced.
⸻
The Nature of Building
We proclaim that building is ordained of the Brickmaker, and that instruction manuals are provided to guide builders toward stability, beauty, and structural integrity.
Creativity is acknowledged as a gift; however, it must be exercised within appropriate guidelines, time blocks, and authorized builds. Deviations from instructions may result in joy—or collapse.
⸻
Foundations and Order
We affirm that Baseplates are essential. Strong builds require flat surfaces, thoughtful planning, and patience. Builds constructed without foundations may stand for a time but will not endure vacuuming, pets, or accidental table bumps.
We declare that sorting is a principle of righteousness. Order brings peace. Chaos brings missing pieces.
⸻
The Role of the Builder
Builders are accountable for their stewardship over bricks entrusted to them. This includes:
• Proper storage
• Respectful handling
• Honest declarations of “complete set”
• Avoidance of forced connections
The use of teeth, pliers, or rage as building tools is strongly discouraged.
⸻
Families, Minifigs, and Eternal Sets
We proclaim that minifigs belong with their original sets, and that families of minifigs may be preserved together forever on the Eternal Display Shelf, provided they are dusted regularly and not played with excessively.
The mixing of minifig accessories without consent leads to confusion and sorrow.
⸻
Authority and Restoration
We testify that the Golden Brick was revealed in the latter days, restoring correct building practices after a long period of unsorted bins and instruction neglect.
We affirm that Lord Business has been divinely appointed to administer order, efficiency, and alignment, and that His image upon the Temple serves as a reminder that stability requires leadership.
⸻
Warnings and Promises
We warn that the disintegration of Brick standards will lead to:
• Crooked stickers
• Wobbly builds
• Missing pieces
• And great lamentation
Conversely, we promise that those who honor the Brick, follow the instructions, and rejoice in the click shall inherit:
• Stable shelves
• Complete inventories
• And joy that endureth beyond the Final Build
⸻
Conclusion
We call upon builders everywhere to defend the Brick, to respect its design, and to teach future generations the sacred principles of clutch power, alignment, and order.
Only the best is good enough.
This proclamation is issued in humility and seriousness, for the welfare of builders everywhere, now and in the latter days.
